BEHIND THE LENS

8 years ago, I fell in love with photography when I bought my first full frame camera from a friend of mine. He sold me a Sony A200 with 5 lenses. I thought for sure that I was a professional photographer. I started taking pictures of everything. I went online to study the art of photography and took countless workshops. I learned about everything from shutter speeds, F-stops, ISO's, depth of fields, to studio lighting, composition and post production work.

 I became addicted, if you will, to the notion that I can capture moments in time and turn those moments into breathtaking images. Through trial and error, I learned how to take that "shot". I developed a passion for photography which has led me to here...MARS Photography. 

The name "MARS" was coined when I came to the realization that my family were my first models. What better way to memorialize their efforts than to showcase them in the name of our business.
